Law Office of Fulvio A. Picerno
I have been practicing personal injury law for over 15 years. I represent individuals who have been seriously injured due to the fault of others. The variety of personal injury cases I handle arise from car accidents, motorcycle accidents, bicycle accidents, slip / trip and fall accidents, dog bites and from any other incident causing physical and mental injuries.
Prior to becoming a plaintiff’s attorney, I worked as a defense attorney, serving the legal needs of a variety of insurance companies, and providing legal defense to their insureds. My past experience gives me a unique advantage to efficiently analyze a personal injury claim, competently advise on the strength and weakness of a potential lawsuit, and effectively strategize litigation to maximize monetary compensation for my clients.
Fulvio is definitely a straight shooter. He fought hard for us, and was able to recover money owed to all of us involved in our case. He guided us throughout our journey, never led us astray and never cheated us. He worked extremely hard on our settlement and even took the time to translate things in Spanish for those involved who didn’t speak English. I would definitely use Fulvio as a lawyer again, if I ever needed one. I would also recommend Fulvio to any one of my friends looking for a good, honest lawyer.
I have experienced Fulvio to be one of the very good and professional Attorney, who explained the case very well to me. He was very dedicated to the case and responded to me ASAP always. Fulvio updated me, even if he was on vacation. I would recommend him to anyone who has personal injury claim.
I worked with Mr. Fulvio Picerno over the course of several months to assist me with settling a traffic collision case involving injury. Throughout the process, Fulvio communicated frequently about the case status and was thoroughly transparent concerning all aspects of my case. His due diligence and attention to details allowed me to receive a very fair settlement for my injuries. I would not hesitate to utilized his services in the future should a need arise. I highly recommend his law firm to handle any personal injury issues one might need.

55-year- old Client severely injured his foot when he tried to maneuver his golf cart between the curb of a narrow golf course path and a golf course service vehicle parked to the side of said path. Liability was disputed and the case was tried to verdict. While Client was found to be substantially at fault for the accident, we were able to recover 6.5 times the amount of Defendant’s last settlement offer, which was extended 10 minutes before trial started.
While at work, Client suffered a shoulder injury by a third-party contractor. The injury required two arthroscopic surgeries. Defendant contested the nature and extent of the injury, as well as the need for surgery. The case settled at a contentious mediation which lasted all day, with Defendant paying $300,000 to Client, for pain and suffering and $75,000 to the Worker’s Compensation carrier, in settlement for their $140,000 WC lien.
Client severely injured her ankle when she fell into an unmarked trench in the backyard of a home, while working as a part-time dog-sitter. Homeowner’s insurance carrier denied Client’s third-party personal injury claim, as it argued that the Workers’ Compensation exclusive remedy applied. After convincing defense counsel that Client’s case fit an antiquated, but still valid, exception to the WC exclusive remedy doctrine, the case settled for the $500,000 policy limit available to the homeowner.
Throughout my legal career, I have managed and resolved hundreds of personal injury cases. Most of these cases were successfully mediated, resulting in faster monetary compensation for my clients. I have also arbitrated and tried several cases, both in San Francisco and in the East Bay.
